All nanny candidates are more than 20 years of age. Only candidates with a minimum of three years experience or a childcare qualification can register with Exclusively Nannies.

NNEB - Full time two-year course.
NVQ - Full or part time course. Level III is equivalent to the NNEB.
NAMCW Diploma - Full time two-year course.
Norland & Chiltern College - Two private colleges offering two year courses.
Montessori - A course run by private colleges. A one-year course. An indirect teaching method for 2 - 7 years olds.

We hold copies of all candidate's passports and driving licences. We check all candidates have a first-aid qualification.

All nanny candidates are interviewed by one of our consultants.

We thoroughly research candidates' backgrounds to make certain they have the right skills for the job.

We do background checks with previous employers to confirm past employment.

We ask all our nannies to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure through CARE CHECK when applying to our agency. This is the highest level of access to to information, providing details of a person's criminal record if any. It also includes a check on local police records, as well as information held on record by the Department of Education and Skills.
